NEW - Cup Face 360°
The Mactec NVG2 Driver is more than just an amazing Cup Face. The innovative Fujikura Quadra Action Shaft adds clubhead speed to your swing for increased distance. The light Crown Structure allows for weight to be redistributed to the sole, dramatically lowering CG for low spin and an easy, high launch. And the Quadra Tungsten Weighting creates a higher MOI for more accuracy and control. The 4 high density tungsten weights reduce unwanted rotation of the club head. Simply said, the MACTEC NVG2 Driver represents a whole new generation of technology driven power and forgiveness.
Seams are automatic weak spots for all standard face insert golf clubs, but especially so with fairway woods because of their smaller head size. The remarkable design advantage of Cup Face 360° is that it has no face welds, so the entire face is the sweet spot. 15-3-3-3 beta-titanium is used in the NVG2 fairway woods for a combination of both power and control. Its high-elongation properties make the NVG2's face super hot, and with NVG2's proprietary plasma welding completely off the face, it has maximum rebound properties over the whole hitting area. The entire face is a very hot, driver-like sweet spot. Quadra Tungsten Weighting operates on the principle of triangulation. The same physics that steadies high-speed cameras gives MACTEC NVG2 woods their superior control and accuracy. The dispersion of force among three points provides maximum stability, because wherever the force is applied, the nearest point will always have two other points supporting it. Bringing this stabilizing principle to MACTEC woods is achieved by four high-density tungsten weights: two light weights, one each in the extreme heel and toe, and two heavier weights anchored close together in the sole. With the weight away from the face and toward the extremes, the CG is moved lower and further back for an easy high launch, increased forgiveness and greater accuracy.
NVG2 fairway woods utilize TVC beta-titanium. Its high elongation properties are ideal to generate hot ball response from all points of impact, so as long as you make contact - you're going long.
The Triple Action Shaft will be of great benefit to the higher handicapper, simply because 3 extra miles per hour makes a proportionally greater increase on slower swing speeds than faster ones. Varying the thickness, stiffness and strand orientation of the graphite creates three zones that generate, stabilize and release more energy at impact so golfers can get more added clubhead speed to their swing for more distance.
