The Yonex Titanium PPS Plus irons was a breakthrough that allowed for faster club head speeds with great accuracy. Under the grip yonex was able to increase the diameter of the shaft and reduce the weight of the grip, while maintaining the standard grip size through the use of a light weight wrap. This allowed them to enlarge the club head and creating a 30% larger hitting area. The brass insert lowered the center of gravity, and made it three times deep than a conventional club, which gives it a pendulum feel for greater power and distance with less effort.
