Based on feedback from Tour Pros, the game’s best-selling fairways woods
have been re-energized. The most significant upgrade is the addition of
the Modified X-Sole Design featured in X Hybrids. A slightly larger head
size offers more stability and the slightly deeper face offers a larger
effective hitting area.
Modified X-Sole Design - The Modified X-Sole Design provides versatile
turf interaction, cutting through thick rough or gliding smoothly over
tight fairways. It also lowers the leading edge to help get the ball in
the air more efficiently.
New head shape - The slightly larger head shape raises the Moment of
Inertia (MOI) and is designed to appeal to a wider range of players. The
slightly deeper face increases the effective hitting area and provides
confidence at address.
Increased Perimeter Weighting - Strategically positioned internal
weighting provides a high MOI for superior stability on miss-hits and
also optimizes ball flight trajectories from the fairway or the tee.
Callaway Golf Core Technologies - VFT Technology maximizes ball speed
and perimeter weighting for more distance and forgiveness; S2H2
increases discretionary weight by removing it from the hosel and
repositioning it in the perimeter of the clubhead. |
