| Research has shown that one of the major contributors to missed
putts is miss alignment. Unlike most sports where the eyes are
positioned behind the target, the putting stroke positions the eyes to
the side of the target. When you look at the principals of optometry it
is clear that unless the eyes can be positioned directly above the
ball's center and on the intended target line; then visual
misperceptions will occur. With the Cleveland Golf Visual Performance Putters, Cleveland has produced a series of putters that can aid the player at address and help them get into the correct position every time they address the ball on the course. Using the Dual Axis Alignment system the golfer can see when their hands creep out of position changing the putters lie angle, but also detect when their eyes are not over the ball.
