The D-Spec's loft, lie, CG (center of gravity), MOI (moment of
inertia) and weight have all been configured to make the ball have the
perfect draw. The D-Spec is engineered for players who prefer a flatter
trajectory and a more workable ball flight and is set up for a faster
swing speed. XW Inserts create 16 grams of discretionary weight for
directional control, and also allows for a classic design with a very
high MOI and perimeter heel/toe weighting, creating a very large sweet
spot on the face. A 0.4 mm super thin titanium crown makes this one of
the thinnest crowns in any driver and gives Nickent the secret recipe
for saving weight for optimum center of gravity positioning and a great
sound and feel. The XW tungsten-polymer inserts absorb vibration from
impact, reducing a majority of the shock and hard tungsten plugs or
screws create.
This space age 4DX Driver not only brings Nickent into the realm of
superpower drivers, it signifies the first time a directional control
driver has been able to provide the best of all the main facets of
driver design.
What's the deal with driver design these days? We all know geometry is
taking over because of the increase it makes on a clubs MOI, but what
about the classic shape that PGA Tour players demand? Nickent Golf may
be the first to have an answer for this dilemma. Under the careful eye
of Master Designer John Hoeflich, Nickent Senior Vice President, Nickent
has made a driver that perfectly combines art and science, while
offering state-of-the-art directional control capabilities. |
