  • $ 428.95

This ultra-premium 445cc profile and deeper face is designed for the competitive player. The C722 Driver features a 2-tier front/back weighting system that allows for industry-leading M.O.I. and spin rate manipulation, while bringing the ultimate in power, feel and forgiveness through Tour Edge’s breakthrough Ridgeback™ and Diamond Face VFT ™ technologies.

RIDGEBACK TECHNOLOGY

PROVIDES MORE POWER AND FEEL FROM ALL PARTS OF THE FACE.

Ridgeback Technology

Ridgeback Tech is a power producer. This Ridgeback spine acts as a brace to produce more power across the entire face, including the extreme perimeters. TE engineers created a 20% thinner Ridgeback with increased structural properties and a Ridgeback Sole activation for the C722 Driver. The spine runs from the center of the face through the crown and wraps around the head to connect with a newly designed sole plate.

Ridgeback is designed to create superior feel at impact. The extra rigidity created by the brace through the crown produces a much stronger feel at impact and results in a crisper and brighter feel at strike.

What is it?

TE engineers created a thinner Ridgeback for C722 with increased structural properties and Ridgeback Sole activation. The spine running from the center of the face through the crown and wrapping around the head to connect with the newly designed sole plate.

 What does it do?

This Ridgeback spine acts as a brace to produce more power on across the entire face, including the extreme perimeters.  The C722 Ridgeback design is 20% thinner than the C721 model, while offering the same structural support properties.

Ridgeback is designed to create superior feel at impact.  The extra rigidity created by the brace through the crown produces a much stronger feel at impact when compared to a full carbon crown and results in a crisper and brighter feel at strike.

CARBON WRAP TECH

SAVES EXTREME WEIGHT TO CREATE IDEAL CENTER OF GRAVITY PLACEMENT.

Carbon Wrap Tech

Carbon Wrap technology replaced extra Titanium from the crown and sole with an extreme wrap-around design that features 26% more carbon fiber. These weight savings have been re-purposed to create the optimal CG location, allowing for greater face flex in the heel and toe so off-center hits achieve greater power.

What is it?

TE engineers replaced extra Titanium from the crown and sole by creating Carbon Wrap technology that wraps around from the crown to the sole. The C722 features 26% more carbon fiber than its previous iteration.

What does it do?

The addition of Carbon Wrap technology saves considerable weight in the clubhead , allowing greater face flex in the heel and toe areas meaning off center hits achieve greater power.

This weight savings has been re-purposed to the ideal location to help with creating optimal CG location. The 722’s CG is 5% further back than the C721 Driver when the heavier weight is in the rearward position.

The C722 Driver’s low-rearward CG position while in the rear setting produces an extremely high M.O.I. that is 8% higher to increase stability at impact and tighter dispersion.

FRONT/BACK WEIGHTING SYSTEM

Front/Back Weighting System featuring M.O.I./Spin Rate Adjustability

A two-tier Front/Back Weight System is employed in the C722 Driver that allows for extreme M.O.I. and spin rate manipulation. The C722 Driver will come standard with a 20-gram weight in the back and a 5-gram weight in the front. This allows for adjustability at a rate of +/- 300 RPMs of spin rate when the weights are switched. The M.O.I. range adjustment is from 4950 g/cm2 to 4400 g/cm2, making for an available M.O.I. adjustability of 11% at your fingertips.

The compact 445cc profile and deeper face is designed for the competitive player.

This player’s club also comes with player’s adjustability. The C722 Driver will come standard with a 5-gram weight in the front and a 20-gram weight in the back.

This allows for adjustability at a rate of +/- 300 RPMs of spin rate when the weights are switched.

Additional weights available in 10 grams, 12.5 grams and 15 grams.

DIAMOND FACE VFT

CREATES FULL FACE FORGIVENESS AND AMAZING BALL SPEED.

c722driver_face.png

Diamond Face VFT Technology

New Diamond Face VFT is made up of diamond shapes of variable face thickness behind the face. There are 61 total diamond shapes that function as mini-trampolines, comprising of seven different thicknesses in an interweaving pattern. The face thickness of the new Diamond Face VFT is thinner and extends further out to the heel and toe of the clubhead, dramatically increasing ball speed on off-center hits while also greatly aiding forgiveness on these strikes.

The face thickness of the new Diamond Face VFT is thinner on the heel and toe on the C722 Driver.

What does it do?

The mini trampolines that make-up Diamond Face VFT create faster ball speeds and an expanded sweet spot.

The increase in Diamond Face coverage to the extreme heel and toe dramatically increases ball speed on off-center hits while also greatly aiding forgiveness on these strikes.

INTERNAL SOUND DIFFUSION RIBBING

Sound Diffusion Ribbing is strategically placed sound-enhancing ribs located inside the clubhead.

What does it do?

The S.D. Ribbing vastly improves the acoustic properties by directing and diffusing sound waves within the club head on impact. This enhances the richness of the sound produced.

Working in concert with the Sound Diffusion Ribbing, inherent design aspects of Ridgeback and the Carbon Wrap all work together to orchestrate the 722 driver’s amazing sound and feel.
